Claire the giant

Claire looks so big next to her newest cousin Hendrix. He was born on October 14th. She gave him loves then tried to pull his hair. Pretty good for the first visit. Not sure what kind of attacks she will try on him once she can move!!!

Lets get some exercise!

My wonderful Sister Jenny made Claire this cute headband and it totally reminds me of someone with the sweatband for exercising. She whipped this thing out in like 15 minutes last night, something I could never do.
Claire is rocking back and forth on her hands and knees so she should be crawling here pretty quick I would guess. She also pulls herself up when I hold her hands (no help from me!) I guess I need to do some serious baby proofing here real soon! Her personality has sure come out and she gives loves and kisses, if she is in the mood, when you ask her for them. I absolutely love it!

Fun with Brother

So Wes put Claire in the laundry basket and then got in with her so they could play. I just thought it was so cute. He loves her so much and is always helping out with her when I need to do other things. I love how much he wants to take care of her and make sure she is happy!

Dance away!

Claire loves to dance when we play the music. The other day when she was playing with this monkey she started scooting around!! She scooted about a foot. She is taking after her auntie Jenny!

What a weekend

This has been a very busy holiday weekend for little miss Claire. Aunt Amy was in town to see her for the first time. We had so much fun but I think Claire is worn out. We went out and about everyday she was here. When we picked Amy up from the airport Claire let her hold her. The drive home was another story however, Claire screamed as Amy and Melissa sat in the back seat so we played musical chairs in the car and I was in the back. Every time Claire would look at Melissa she would scream but when she looked at me she was fine. What a girl. Claire really liked snuggling with Amy. and Amy was great at getting her to sleep. We will miss you Amy.

6 month stats

Our little miss is now 6 months old. I can't believe it time sure flies. She is 15 pounds and 1.5 ounces which puts her in the 33 % for her weight. She is 26.7 inches long which puts her in the 80% for height. She is really growing. She loves playing with her brother and playing with any toys. I think her favorite thing is to go for walks. I am not sure what I am going to do when it is winter and too cold to go for walks.
She is now eating veggies. She started with sweet potatoes and she did pretty good. She loves her rice cereal. She can eat so much of it, I just can't believe it. Her two teeth finally came in so she hasn't been as grumpy either so that is nice!!!
