Claire Says.........

Claire has started talking so much in the last couple of months. She is a crack up. Here are a few funny things she has done lately.
We walked into Grandma Melissa's house the other day and Claire says, "heloo, heloo grama heloo. It was possibly the cutest thing ever. To bad there was no one there to hear her.
When ever she acts like she is going to call someone I ask her who she is talking to. Her answer is always Drix. She has finally started saying hdrix.
The other day her Dad was playing with her, she handed him the remote and said "elmo." She really likes watching sesame street.
She is just growing up way to fast. Some of her words are grama = Grandma
grapa = Grandpa
bubbles. she says this one clear as day
wawa = water
ice= ice or rice
wawa also means Rylee
heloo = hello
ookie = cookie
ba = binki
anna, who she loves dearly and she will go to the computer and repeat her name over and over. We talk to Anna a lot on skype and Claire thinks that is wonderful.
She is such a funny little girl. She will be so excited when grama and grapa get home along with her Aunt Amy. She will be loved for a couple of days after the boys go to school, after that I am in trouble!!!

No Fear.......

This little girl has no fear. If she wants to do something she is going to do it whether anyone is there to help her or not. We go to the school to play most nights so she can get some energy out. She will run and climb and not stop. I can only handle it for about 10 minutes before I make her get off. She thinks she is so big. She has mastered climbing up the slide by herself. she likes to hang from the monkey bars and she likes to go down the slide. When we were at bear lake she just jumped in the water up to her neck with no thoughts at all and was mad when we made her get out. I am not sure where she got her adventuresome behavior, cause it certainly was not from her mother!!

I have a diva on my hands

So a couple of weeks ago my sister did a post about us girls and who was the biggest diva. Marcie won that contest hands down, but I think we may have someone else in the running. Her name would be Claire! She thought she was so funny putting on my sunglasses so here are a few pictures! She is one in charge baby. She will scream at you if you are bugging her or sometimes just for the fun of screaming. She will tell you no,no,no,no,no if she doesn't like what you are doing. She is growing so much. Time just goes by so fast. Summer is almost over and I don't know what we are going to do once the boys go back to school. She is going to be so bored. I will have to find some play groups or start one of my own or something. It has been so much fun to watch her and Wes grow and all of the other little ones too.

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Claire jumped on my mom's tramp for the first time and LOVED it. She is talking more and more on her terms of course. She is the princess and has knocked Rylee off of the thrown! She still loves to be outside playing in the hose or in the dirt or with the bugs. She helped my Dad in the garden last night and helped him weed. She is a funny little miss. She loves her Popsicles and icecream. She loves to eat and almost always has some sort of snack in her hand. We have had so much fun this summer. We are going to have some serious withdrawals when the boys go back to school.

Fun in the Sun

Outside is probably Claire's favorite place to be. She will stand by the door early in the morning wanting to go out. We spend most of our days (when it isn't raining) outside. A couple of days ago we went on a hike and she was in HEAVEN!!! She found dandelions galore and wanted to pick all of them. At one point I counted and she had 28 in one hand. She loves putting everything in one hand and will fit as many of whatever it is she has in that hand! She also loves finding bugs and squishing them. She chases the ants and potato bugs all over the yard.
She is talking more and more everyday. She loves to wave her finger and say no,no,no! She says yogi all of the time too. She will also come and stand by the computer and say Anna, Anna, Anna. Anna I think she likes you! She also loves that her dad is home all summer. She has him wrapped around his little finger!
She had her 15 month check up and she is now 21.9 pounds and 31 inches. The Dr. says she looks great. They get so big so fast!
