What is that???!!!

This is Claire eating rice cereal for the first time. Her face just cracks me right up! The video came in sideways and I am not quite sure why or how to fix it, if you can tell me please do!!!

Rolly Poly Oly

So our little miss has really figured out the rolling situation. She does it quite often now. It is crazy to think she is old enough to do this kind of stuff. She thinks she is pretty smart, she loves to be on her tummy now. She also found her feet a couple of weeks ago. She thinks it is so funny that she can grab them. She also loves to stand on her feet so this makes James think she is going to walk at 9 months like he did. Please pray for her to wait :) Thanks to Aunt Katie we also have the saucer of toys and she really enjoys playing in it too! Wesley helped me by feeding her the bottle today, he did a pretty darn good job of it. I am so glad to have him as my big helper. He has also been reading to her, which is good for both of them. What a good big brother.

My first vacation

We took Claire to Cedar Breaks this week! She did so good that we are talking about going on another little trip soon! She loved the hikes and just being outside. We are teaching her young the best way to camp!!! At a hotel!!

4 Month Checkup

So I took Claire to the Dr. yesterday. She now weighs 12.2 pounds and is 24 1/4 inches long. She is slowly moving up the scale for weight so that is nice. She is a very healthy little girl. It is crazy to think she is 4 months old. Time flies when you are having fun I guess.

4 Months old

So Claire is 4 months old, I can't believe it one bit!!! She is growing like a weed and more active than ever. She loves to go for walks. We go on at least 2 a day sometimes more. I am taking her for her 4 month checkup tomorrow. Melissa thinks she is 13 pounds, James says 11 1/2 pounds. I am not sure what I think probably a little closer to 12. Put in your guess at what you think she weighs. If you are right you win a kiss from her. Her legs are so chunky and her cheeks too! She still loves her hanging toys and all the soft bunnies. She also loves sitting in her bumbo chair. These seats are pretty hilarious. Below is a picture to prove it. She looks like a little old man trying to sit up in it! If you don't have one of these you need to get one, they are quite nice. It is a must, like everything else out there that I didn't have when I had Wes!

Rolling Over

So little miss Claire has decided she can roll over. She has been really close to rolling over from her back to her stomach. Last night at my mom's we put her on her stomach and she rolled onto her back really easily. She just plopped right over. She wasn't quite sure what to think of that.

What a talker!

Claire has really found her voice. She loves to sing with me and tell us all sorts of stories. Her favorite songs are The itsy bitsy spider, I'm a little teapot, Twinkle Twinkle little star and Tiny Tim. I sing to her a LOT!!

She is really figuring out how her hands work too. She loves the baby doll Aunt Amy sent home with Grandma and the bunny that Aunt Amy gave her. She still loves her dangly toys too. She is so much fun to just chat with and to watch her grow is amazing!
