Wanna hairdo????

If you think you are in the mood for a new hairdo, I have the girl for you!!! Claire was brushing Wesley's hair and he was such a good sport about it until he realized we were videoing the whole thing!!!

Birthday Girl!

On Monday we went out to lunch for Claire's birthday. We got her some Icecream and she LOVED it. They only had chocolate so she made a huge mess, but hey what are birthdays for!!!






I took little miss to the Dr. yesterday. She had to have 4 shots which she was NOT happy with!!! But she was really happy the rest of the day so that was nice! She weighs in at 19.9 pounds, she is 30.5 inches and her head is 18.5 inches. Length and head size is in the 90th % and her weight in the 26th!! She is getting along quite nicely though. The Dr. was impressed that she is walking and that she is saying some words. She says "hat", "hot", and "mama" and "dada". Today it kindof sounded like she is working on saying brother. Sometimes she will also say juice. She knows the signs for more and all done.

She love to play outside!!! We are going outside daily no matter what the weather. When we take her to the park she never wants to leave. When we do leave she is usually crying. She loves dogs and anytime she hears one she makes her dog noise then points outside. She wants to go see them! She is obsessed with hats. If anyone is wearing anything on their heads it is a hat. She loves to wear hats to. So that is nice for when it is cold outside that she will actually keep one on! She loves to play with her brother too.

She is one amazing girl. A little stubborn but oh so much fun. I can't believe it has already been a year. It seems like yesterday I was telling James I was pregnant. It has been an adventure for everyone. I am so happy to be her mother, it is amazing how much happiness one little miss can bring!

Birthday Invitation

I finally got Claire's birthday invitation mailed yesterday. We are going to have her party on Sunday. I do have some extras so let me know if you want me to mail one!

Momma's little helper

Claire loves to watch me cook, always wants to be right up in the business of it all. She loves to put her hands in whatever I am cooking. She calls everything "hot" even if I am making a batter or dough. So today I was making banana bread and she kept wanting to put her hands in what I had already put in the bowl so I just got her a bowl of flour and let her go to town. These are some of the pictures. It was pretty damn funny. The funniest thing was after she ate some. One of the pictures shows her face after eating some!!!

Walking Little Miss

Claire started taking some steps a couple of weeks ago. She is doing better and better everyday. She still loves walking around with her bike she got for Christmas. On Sunday she took about ten steps. I finally got some video of her doing her new trick. By next month she will probably be walking all over the place.
