Reflection

So Claire is now 6 weeks old. I can't believe how fast time flies. She is a lot more responsive. She is focusing and trying to talk. It is pretty cute! It is amazing all that a baby learns in 6 weeks.
My little sis Jenny is having a baby in October. My dad and her were talking and he said, Your world is going to be thrown for a loop in October. Man is he right, everything you thought you knew is no longer! Your schedule is no longer yours but your babies. It is a hard transition but well worth it. Children are amazing creatures. They can make you so frustrated but so happy in the same day. I just look at Wes and Claire and can't help but smile. Even when they are crying all day long when I am just so exhausted. The way Claire holds her hands while she is sleeping. The way Wes loves her so much and wants to be right where she is all of the time. I just can't imagine my life with out them and without the help of my great husband. He is so understanding when he comes home and the house is destroyed because Claire needs to be held all day. The way he is willing to take Wes to play or take him to ball practice and most of all that he was willing to give up a long bike ride today because it is Claire's cranky time and I can't make dinner and hold her and take Wes to practice and that he puts up with my postpartum nuttiness! I am so thankful for James, Wes and Claire.
